     Ex-Bayelsa Governor, Sylva, Commends Wamakko On Projects

gov_aliyu_wamakkoFormer Governor of Bayelsa, Timipre Sylva, has commended Gov. Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State for investing in infrastructure and manpower development.
Sylva made the commendation on Wednesday in Sokoto after inspecting various development projects executed by the Wamakko Administration.
The projects covered the areas of health, education, agriculture and roads, among others.
He also lauded the governor for transforming the state by providing dividends of democracy to the people irrespective of political differences.
The former governor had visited the 30-megawatts State Independent Power Project in Arkilla, the new Sokoto State University and the 20-million gallon per day Asare water project.
Others were; the 500 unit Kalambaina Housing scheme, the NYSC permanent Orientation Camp at Wamakko, and the 600- bed Murtala Muhammed Hospital started in 1991. (NAN)
