Amos Adamu Holds Private Meeting with Sports Minister

Former FIFA Executive committee member, Amos Adamu, met with Nigeria’s Sports Minister Bolaji Abdullahi earlier in the week in Abuja.

Adamu recently served out a three-year ban from all football activities by world’s football governing body.
He was accompanied to the meeting, which also had the Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Gbenga Elegbeleye, represented by his son.

Details of the private meeting remained undisclosed as at the time of this report, but it is believed in some section of the media that the former Director General may have been at the Minister’s office to brief him and clear the air about the circumstances surrounding his suspension, and his plans for the future.
