Full House Eagles Ready to Put Paid to 2014 World Cup Ambition
Friday morning training session, which is expected to be lighter than the others for the well-being of the players, will be open to the media.
2013 BBC African Footballer of the Year nominees, John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses, were part of the 16 players who graced the Super Eagles first training on Tuesday.
“I am relieved now that all the players are here and we can start serious preparation for the game against Ethiopia, which are still a threat because they are a very good side and have been together for up to five years, unlike our team which is relatively young and new,” Keshi said, on preparation for the decisive World Cup playoff.
Nigeria maintains superior advantage over their opponent after last month’s 2-1 victory away in Addis Ababa and only needs a point to reach next summer’s soccer showpiece.
