The Vice-President stated, “Our partnership in transparent and focused government has been our strength. President Jonathan and I are committed to the unity, indivisibility and total transformation of the socio-economic status of Nigeria and Nigerians.
“We have been encouraged by the support and cooperation of our people who have been patient with us in nation-building”.
In his advice to the couple, Sambo urged them to embrace the secret of a successful marriage which he identified as faithfulness, tolerance and honesty.
He commended the president and First Lady, Dame Patience, for Faith’s upbringing.
He further commended all the invited guests for honouring President Jonathan with their presence.
He added, “The secret behind a successful marriage is for both the bride and the bridegroom to be faithful to each other, to be tolerant and honest. When you do this, God will manifest in your life and good luck will be your portion”.
