Prophet Charged For Attempting To Rape A Woman During Prayer Session

A 35-year-old prophet, Favour Emmanuel, on Monday appeared before an
Ojokoro Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, and charged with attempt to rápe his
client. The offence which contravenes sections, 134, 185, 188 and 261
of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011. The accused pleaded not
guilty. The Magistrate, Mrs A.0 Layinka, granted bail to the accused in
the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in the like sum.
